Aircraft that sit idle have a host of checklist items that the airframe, engine and APU manufacturers not only recommend, but in some cases require to be completed on a weekly and/or monthly basis. Failure to address these may not only result in costly maintenance to rectify, but in some cases may result in loss of warranty program eligibility, decline in resale value or worse.
